The One Piece Podcast to Interview One Piece Editor Takeru Isaka
NEW YORK, NY - July 4, 2013 - The One Piece Podcast started in 2009 with a vision: to bring the manga and anime series One Piece to a global audience. This August, we take the next step.
The podcast will be heading to Japan to film a video documentary series for The One Piece Podcast starting August 4th. As part of the series we will have live video events, video interviews, video tours of Japan, and cultural insights. We will visit One Piece events, exhibitions, One Piece bars, Shueisha, and more.
We are happy to announce our first guest for our "One Piece Podcast Goes to Japan" event, Shueisha, Inc. in Chiyoda, Japan.
On our trip to Japan, you will get to see everything we see. We will give you a perspective of Japan only we at The One Piece Podcast can. Here are just some of the events we'll be visiting and reporting on:

ABOUT ONE PIECE - One Piece has been running consistently in print and on television since 1997, and is currently the most popular comic and animated series in Japan. It has spawned 11 movies, documentaries, game shows, and an unfathomable amount of merchandise. The series follows Monkey D. Luffy in his quest to become the Pirate King in a world thrown into upheaval at the death of the previous Pirate King.
