Tsugumomo Original Video Anime Reveals Cast, Staff, January 22 Release

The new original video franchise will be bundled on a DVD with the original manga's 24th compiled book volume, which will ship in Japan on January 22.
The returning cast includes:
- Yūko Sanpei as Kazuya Kagami
- Naomi Ōzora as Kiriha
- Yurika Kubo as Kukuri
- Eriko Matsui as Kokuyō
- Noriko Shibasaki as Chisato Chikaishi
- Sunao Sumeragi
- Rumi Okubo as Kotetsu
The returning staff includes:
- Director: Ryōichi Kuraya
- Character Design: Kiyotaka Nakahara
- Scripts/Storyboards/Technical Direction: Ryōichi Kuraya
- Sound Director: Fumiyuki Go
- Music: Yasuharu Takanashi
However, Toei Video is handling the production.
The OVA had a crowdfunding campaign that reached its 6 million yen stretch goal ($53,500) to give the OVA a runtime of 20 minutes or more. The campaign ended on April 26 with 7,989,500 yen ($74,700), or 266% of the initial goal.
The OVA will feature six "slightly Zero-G will animate it.
The anime franchise is based on Tsugu Tsugumomo that will premiere in 2020. Ryōichi Kuraya is returning to direct the season and supervise the series scripts, and Zero-G will again animate the series.
The 12-episode first season premiered in April 2017, and with "a combination of uncensored and TV broadcast materials based on what was available from the licensor" in May 2018.
