Twin Angel Franchise Details New TV Anime, Game App & Teases 'Secret' Project

posted on by Egan Loo
MAO, Twin Angel Break next spring

The Twin Angel 10th Anniversary event ended on Sunday with more details on the previously Twin Angel Break television anime and new smartphone game app. It also teased a new, different project with a "secret" movie.

The Twin Angel Break television anime will premiere next spring and tell the story of new angels:

In the story, two third-year middle school girls fight evil as Twin Angels under orders from a hedgehog named Miruku-chan. The girls disagree, but as they work together, little by little they become friendlier with each other.

The cast includes:

MAO as Meguri Amatsuki (Angel Rose, pictured left), an always cheerful, somewhat pushy girl. She is innocent and yearns to be on the side of justice.

Ai Kayano as Sumire Kisaragi (Angel Sapphire, pictured right), a socially challenged girl. She is aloof to other people after being raised in the strict Kisaragi household.

Rie Kugimiya as Miruku-chan (top center)

This Art Club Has a Problem!) is composing the music.

"Avenue Project feat. Meguri Amatsuki & Sumire Kisaragi" is singing the opening theme song "Love-tte♥Jewelry♪Angel☆Break!!" Miruku-chan (Rie Kugimiya) is singing the ending theme song "Break Miruku Love!" which was written and composed by ZAQ.

The Yukari Honma will play Aoi's mother Chihiro Kannazuki.

The game will feature a new character who resembles Lilia, and Ai Shimizu will voice the new character. The game will have an initial cost to play, but then will not have any additional charges. Additionally, Sakura Saori will perform the game's theme song "Color of Tears."

Finally, the Twin Angel Break staff are teasing "Project ???" which they emphasize is neither anime nor a game. Sunday's event debuted a "secret movie" for "Project ???":

The franchise began with the first Kaitō Tenshi Twin Angel pachislo (slot machine for pachinko parlors) game in 2006. The franchise then streamed the television anime series under the title Twin Angel: Twinkle Paradise.
