Ninja Slayer Novels Get Browser Game

The official Ninja Slayer announced on Monday that the multimedia project now has a browser game. The "Isoge! Ninja Slayer" (Hurry! Ninja Slayer) game is a side-scrolling action game where players play as Ninja Slayer. Players can move Ninja Slayer forward and backward with the cursor keys, and can jump by pressing Z. Ninja Slayer defeats the game's clone yakuza and rival ninja enemies by jumping on them.
The series has an anime adaptation by Mobile Suit Gundam UC) will perform the main theme song "Back in Black."
The "cyberpunk ninja action drama" is set in the near-future city of Neo Saitama, where ninja souls have been unleashed. The story follows Kenji Fujikido, a salaryman whose wife and children were killed in a ninja battle. He is then possessed by a ninja soul and becomes a Ninja Slayer, devoted to killing all ninja to avenge his family.
The story was originally posted piecemeal on Twitter by Japanese "translators" Honda Yu and Sugi Leika, allegedly translating the work of American authors "Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez." After the story grew in popularity, Toshiyuki Morikawa as the title character.
