NIS America Licenses The Pilot's Love Song Anime

Retail release for story of love & aerial combat that premiered last month
Crunchyroll service since it premiered in Japan last month.
NIS America describes the story in this adaptation of Koroku Inumura's light novel series:
In order to uncover the "end of the sky," as spoken of in ancient mythology, Kal-el Albus is sent to Isla, an island in the sky. There he attends Cadoques High's Aerial Division, where he enjoys a carefree life with his schoolmates. That is...until a surprise attack by the air tribe drags Isla into a bloody war.
The 2009-2011 five-volume light novel series is set in the same world as Inumura's To Aru Hikūshi e no Tsuioku (released The Princess and the Pilot on Blu-ray Disc last May.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal) designed the characters.
The anime stars Akai Kōen performs the ending theme, "Kaze ga Shitteru" (The Wind Knows).
