Last book volume of Mamoru Nagano's science fantasy shipped in 2006; new model planned
The official garage kit" is in the works.
Nagano launched his science fantasy manga series in Newtype in 1986, although the series has been running intermittently since then. The last regularly compiled book volume, the 12th one, shipped in 2006. To mark the 25th anniversary of the manga last year, Kadokawa reissued the manga series in a "Repeat" edition with previously unpublished art.
Nagano's own released the 1989 anime film adaptation in North America.
Since at least 2006, Nagano had been opened in Japan on November 1.
