Funimation Hosts Anime Licensing Survey

Poll requests on 27 recent shows

The North American anime distributor Funimation posted a survey on Tuesday, requesting that fans indicate which of 27 anime titles from the past year that they might be interested in purchasing on DVD or Blu-ray Disc. The poll indicates that any hypothetical release "would be priced similarly to how FUNimation currently prices new 13- [to] 26-episode series."

The list of potential licenses includes:

  • R-15
  • Seitokai no Ichizon (Student Council's Discretion)
  • Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi (World's Greatest First Love)
  • Senki Zesshō Symphogear
  • The Tatami Galaxy
  • Twin Angels
  • Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru (Betrayal Knows My Name)
  • Uta no Prince Sama

    • The company did not indicate how long the poll would be open, or if any specific action would be taken as a result of the survey.
