34th Annual Kodansha Manga Awards Announced

Inazuma 11, Giant Killing win this year's awards

The Japanese publisher Kodansha has announced the results of its 34th Annual Manga Awards on Tuesday.

Best Children's Manga

Inazuma Eleven
Serialized in Shogakukan)

Best Shōnen Manga

Daiya no A)
Serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine (Kodansha)

Best Kuragehime
Serialized in Kiss (Kodansha)

Best General Manga

Art: Tsujitomo 
Story: Giant Killing
Serialized in Morning (Kodansha)

The winners will be honored in a ceremony on June 21 at the Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward. Each winner will receive a certificate, a bronze statue, and 1 million yen ($10,000). won last year's awards.
