Atlus Acquires Online Game Company Gonzo Rosso

decided to divest itself of Gonzo Rosso in March. Under the announced plan, Gonzo Rosso will become a consolidated subsidiary of Atlus.
The company that became Gonzo Rosso was established in 1963, and its current head is Takara Tomy still owns 14.0%. In the fiscal year ending in March of 2008, Gonzo Rosso racked up 1.635 billion yen ($16.8 million) in sales and garnered 36 million yen (US$370,000) in profit.
