Miyazaki Illustrates Westall's Fathom Five Novel for Japan

Sequel to Carnegie-winning novel The Machine Gunners about WWII children
The Japanese publisher Seven and Y retail website posted more details about the book.
Miyazaki did not illustrate the earlier The Machine Gunners novel, but he did contribute the multi-page illustrated "A Trip to Tynemouth" essay to the Japanese edition of Westall's Blackham's Wimpey short story collection. That short story collection includes the short story that bears the book's name, the prequel story "The Haunting of Chas McGill," and "A Place For Me."
