MX TV to Air Animation of Yves Saint-Laurent's La vilaine Lulu

The Tokyo MX TV broadcasting station has announced on Tuesday that it will premiere an animated version of the La vilaine Lulu (Otenba Lulu) picture book by the late fashion icon Yves Saint-Laurent on April 4. Tokyo MX TV has not indicated if the animation is being produced in Japan or in another country. Saint-Laurent originally created the cartoons in his picture book in 1956, when he was a 20-year-old working for the Christian Dior haute couturier. The cartoons follow the bizarre fantasies of a mischievous girl named Lulu.
