Bandai Visual USA Gets Haruka TV Anime Series (Update 2)

Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time – A Tale of the Eight Guardians (Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Hachiyou Shou~) television series. According to the preview webpage, the full website will go online later on February 15. The first of nine US$29.99 (suggested retail price) volumes for the 2004-2005 26-episode television series will ship on April 22.
The story follows three friends who are transported to an alternate fantasy world with ancient Japanese motifs. One of the friends, Akane, becomes the Priestess of the Dragon God who can help protect the land from demons. Protecting her are eight handsome Guardians, the Hachiyō. The anime series is based on Shojo Beat magazine, with compiled volumes shipping in April.

Update 2: Bandai Visual USA tells ANN that neither "the Haruka Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Kurenai no Tsuki television special followed after the television series. None of these titles are necessary to follow the story of the television series.
