Aspirations for the show are high, since the series is a period/historically themed anime - an unusual entry into this kind of a time slot. Furthermore, this will be the first appearance in this time slot for Bones, who last had a series in that slot 3 years ago with Fullmetal Alchemist.
Character designs will be done by Shō Aikawa.

Errata: Previously we stated that character designs for Ayakashi Ayashi would be done by Shōji Kawamori. This was incorrect, they will be provided by Toshihiro Kawamoto. ANN apologises for this error.
