In Japan, it's customary for women to give chocolates to men on Valentine's Day, and men return the favor on White Day (March 14). Below are some images that anime and manga fans — both women and men — across Japan and overseas have posted to celebrate Valentine's Day.

franchise posted three video messages featuring the characters Mashiro, Misaki, and Nanami to celebrate both Valentine's Day and the release of the The Pet Girl of Sakurasou PS Vita and PSP video game.

Funimation posted nine Princess Jellyfish-themed Valentine's Day cards on its website.

Resident Evil

CAPCOM posted a "Happy Jill Valentine's Day!" video chronicling the character throughout the franchise.
