Rumiko Takahashi's Maison Ikkoku Bentō Lunch on Sale

30th anniversary of romantic comedy manga by Ranma/Inuyasha creator
The Japanese convenience store chain Ministop announced on Monday that it is celebrating the 30th anniversary of both RIN-NE series.
According to Ministop, its "Aijō Bentō" (Love Bentō) is modeled after the bentō that Maison Ikkoku's main female lead Kyoko Otonashi made. Ministop is selling it with 17 other tie-in items from Tuesday, November 16 to December 5. The other represented manga titles include Sasurai Afro Tanaka. There are also random prize giveaways for people who spent over 600 yen ($7) at the stores.
