Screenwriter's Resume Lists Script for Western Gegege no Kitarō Film

Screenwriter Simon Nagel's LinkedIn Gegege no Kitarō film for four months in 2012. He lists the film project as a Gegege no Kitarō reboot aimed at Western audiences.
Similarly, digital artist Majin Bone anime series.
Hakaba Kitarō. The stories center on an inhuman boy who straddles the line between the human and supernatural worlds.
The manga has spawned seven television two live-action films. The most recent anime adaptation (pictured right) aired in Japan in 2007.
